Hero MotoCorp has relaunched the Karizma ZMR in India. Now, we don’t know how many buyers Hero thinks they will attract with this, but we doubt any 200-250cc class motorcycle buyer is going to consider the Karizma ZMR. The 2018 Karizma ZMR has been priced at INR 1.08 lakh ex-showroom.
Owners can now buy the Karizma ZMR in standard or dual tone paint options. The bikes though are yet to reach the dealerships.
The recent interation of the Karizma has not been liked by the masses at all. The design ruined the legacy of the motorcycle brand, and the Karizma actually had a strong fan following ever since its launch in 2003. But over the years with increasing competition and no major tech upgrades, the Karizma & Karizma ZMR lost its sheen.
The Karizma ZMR comes with a fuel-injected motor, but there is no ABS on offer.
Powering the bike is a 223cc, single-cylinder, 4-stroke motor producing 20 BHP of power and 19.7 Nm of torque matched to a 5-speed gearbox. The bike gets front and rear disc brakes and a full digital instrument console, LED DRLs, LED tail lamp and a twin pot headlamp.
Would you buy a Hero MotoCorp Karizma ZMR in today’s day and age?
