Hero MotoCorp’s Karizma XMR 210 design patents have surfaced online. The design reveals a few interesting details about the upcoming motorbike.

Hero Karizma XMR 210 : More Details

We can see a new design for the Karizma XMR 210. The bike gets an aggressive profile with sharp sides. The front end is sculpted as well. The middle portion of the bike gets a fuel tank with multiple cuts and creases which merges into a two-piece seat. The pillion has access to grab handles at the back.

Notably, this bike has been spotted testing on Indian roads many times, but these patent images reveal that the bike is production ready.

New Features on the Hero Karizma XMR 210

Features on the bike could include LED lights, an all-digital instrument cluster with smartphone connectivity and more. These features are likely to add to the bike’s appeal and stay ahead of the competition.

The Hero Karizma XMR 210 will feature a trellis frame. It will get telescopic fork front suspension and a rear mono shock. The bike could also get higher mounted clip-on handlebars. The bike will ride on 17-inch alloy wheels with single disc brakes on each end for stopping duties.

Powertrain of the Hero Karizma XMR 210

Hero is likely to use a 210cc, single-cylinder, liquid cooled engine for the XMR 210. This could develop 25 BHP and 30 Nm of torque. Paired with a six-speed gearbox, it will drive the rear wheel via a chain drive.

Launch and price of the Hero Karizma XMR 210

Hero could launch the bike sometime next month. The price is not yet known, but it could be around the iNR 2 lakh mark. The bike will compete with the likes of the Yamaha YZF R15 and the KTM RC 200. It remains to be seen how the enthusiast crowd reacts to the launch of this bike in India.
