If you were planning on buying the Harley-Davidson Pan America but thought it was expensive, there’s some good news for you. The brand has just announced that a few units of MY21 Pan America 1250 and Pan America 1250 are available at special prices. The revised pricing starts at INR 12.91 lakh ex-showroom. Thus, it is INR 4 lakh less than the original price of the brand’s first adventure motorcycle.

Harley-Davidson Pan America 1250 – Revised Pricing

To put things into perspective, the MY21 Pan America 1250 Standard in Vivid Black retailed for INR 16.90 lakh ex-showroom. On the other hand, the top-end Pan America 1250 Special came with a price tag of INR 21.11 lakh ex-showroom. With the price drop, the same is now available at INR 17.11 lakh.

The price drop makes the Harley-Davidson Pan America quite a steal. The new pricing puts it up against the BMW 850 GS, which costs INR 12.5 lakh ex-showroom. It also makes it about a lakh cheaper than the Triumph Tiger 900 GT, which retails at INR 13.70 lakh.

As for the top-spec Pan America 1250 Special, it is now about INR 2 lakh, more expensive than the Triumph Tiger 900 Rally Pro. However, the Pan America offers a more powerful 1,200cc engine and semi-active suspension.

Harley-Davidson Pan America 1250 – Highlights

Harley-Davidson’s first adventure motorcycle gets rugged on- and off-road styling and an imposing design language. At the front, it gets a wide fascia, a tall windscreen and wide handlebars with knuckle guards. To help with its go-anywhere capabilities, it also gets radiator protectors and a rugged skid plate. The V-twin adventure motorcycle also gets long-travel suspension, upswept exhaust and 19-inch front and 17-inch strengthened alloy wheels.

The Pan America 1250 Special comes with lots more equipment than the Standard version. This includes semi-active suspension, tyre pressure monitoring system, adaptive lights and laced wheels. The Special variant is also available with the optional Adaptive Ride Height (ARH) system. This lowers the suspension by 50 mm when you come to a stop.

Powering the Pan America 1250 is a 1,252cc Revolution Max V-Twin motor that puts out 152 HP of power and 128 Nm of torque. The engine also uses a 4-valve DOHC valvetrain with variable valve timing.
