2022 Harley-Davidson Nightster – Highlights

The Nightster is a fresh new model but continues the classic Harley-Davidson form. It pairs a nimble and lightweight chassis with a powerful engine tuned for strong mid-range performance. Thus, making it an ideal combination for urban traffic as well as curvy backroads. The 2022 Nightster also gets a host of electronic rider aids and features. Harley-Davidson says all this ensures the 2022 Nightster delivers a ride that is stylish, comfortable and powerful.

At the heart of the Nightster sits the Revolution Max 975T engine. The new 975cc liquid-cooled 60-degree V-Twin makes 90 HP at 7,500 rpm and 95 Nm of torque at 5,000 rpm. The brand says it has a torque curve that stays flat through the wide powerband. Furthermore, the bikemaker also designed it to deliver strong acceleration and power through the mid-range.

Another highlight of the 2022 Nightster is its new frame. Unlike the traditional hoop-style frame, the Nightster uses the engine as the stressed member. This not only reduces the weight but also results in a stiff chassis. The 2022 Nightster has a wet weight of 218 kg. The 2022 Nightster rides on a 19-inch front and a 16-inch rear wheel setup that delivers nimble handling. Further helping with this is the mass centralisation that also helps while manoeuvring at low speeds.

The 2022 Nightster also comes with Selectable Ride Modes. Riders can use this to choose to match the road conditions or the experience they want. In total, there are three modes available – Road Mode, Rain Mode and Sport Mode. The system works by adjusting each mode’s power delivery, engine braking, and ABS and TCS settings.
