Ducati has announced that the brand has commenced bookings in the Indian market for the much-anticipated Multistrada V4. The Italian luxury motorcycle brand has announced that customers can now reserve the Multistrada V4 by putting down INR 1 lakh. Customers can reach any Ducati India dealership to book the new adventure motorcycle. The Ducati Multistrada V4 has been built from the grounds up and will be available in the V4, and V4 S trims.
Deliveries and Test Rides under Ducati Cares Programme
The Ducati Multistrada V4 will be available in the Indian market till stock lasts. The brand revealed that the deliveries and test rides for the Multistrada V4 and V4 S would begin soon-after its market launch. Both the deliveries and test rides will adhere to the Ducati Cares programme that ensures the practice of safety.
Ducati Multistrada V4 – Engine Specifications
Powering the Ducati Multistrada V4 is a Ducati Granturismo 90-degree 1158cc V4-cylinder engine. The engine produces 170 Hp of power and 125 Nm of torque. Ducati employs a part chain, part gear valvetrain on the Ducati V4 engine replacing the Desmodromic system. According to Ducati, the new valve train causes less stress on the engine. This allows the motorcycle to have a class-leading maintenance interval of 60,000 km for valves clearance check.
Ducati Multistrada V4 – Mechanical Specifications
The Ducati Multistrada V4 comes with an aluminium monocoque frame that rides on 50mm fully adjustable USD forks on the V4. But the V4 S gets 50mm fully adjustable forks with electronic compression and rebound damping adjustment and Ducati Skyhook technology. The rear suspension on the V4 is also fully adjustable, but the V4 S gets Ducati Skyhook with electronic adjustment. The front brake on the V4 is a 320mm rotor with Brembo monobloc callipers. The V4 S, on the other hand, gets 330mm discs with Brembo M50 Stylema. Both get a radial master cylinder and cornering ABS.
Ducati Multistrada V4 – Features
The Ducati Multistrada V4 comes with a full LED lighting system and cornering lights. The motorcycle comes with alloy or spoked-wire rims, depending on the trim. The Multistrada V4 also gets a 6.5-inch colour TFT instrument with Ducati Connect and satellite navigation. But the Multistrada V4 is the first motorcycle in the world to get radar-based Adaptive Cruise Control and Blindspot detection system, setting new benchmarks in the ‘Adventouring’ segment.
