CFMoto is planning to bring the Zeeho brand to the Indian market which is a new vertical for 100% electric scooters. The brand introduced a new electric scooter in China called the Zeeho Cyber which is likely to come to India in the near future. According to a media report, CFMoto will be selling the Zeeho Cyber electric scooter through CFMoto outlets across the country. If the brand launches the Zeeho Cyber electric scooter in India it will rival the likes of the Ather 450X.
Zeeho Cyber e-Scooter
The design of the Zeeho Cyber is by ‘Kiska which is a partner brand of Austrian Powersports motorcycle manufacturer KTM for more than 30 years and CFMoto joined hands with KTM a few years ago, resulting in the e-Scooter. The brand also uses OEM parts from Bosch, J.Juan, Continental, KYB etc to deliver enhanced quality and performance. Powering the Zeeho Cyber is a water-cooled 10kW electric motor that can produce 213 Nm of torque. The power unit draws power from a 4kWh lithium-ion battery from industry-leading electric energy storage manufacturer Farasis Energy and claims to deliver 130 km of range on a single charge and is limited to a top speed of 110 kmph. The brand also claims that the battery charging time is just 30 minutes for 0-80% state of charge and the battery comes with 2,500 cycles.
Design & Styling
The Zeeho Cyber comes with a futuristic design language with a sharp and aerodynamic front apron, chopped fenders, angular side panels, double-sided swingarm, ergonomically designed seats, large alloy wheels, disc brakes on both ends, a large screen colour TFT instruments cluster with smartphone connectivity, riding modes, etc.
Timeline
The brand plans to globally unveil the Zeeho Cyber e-Scooter around June 2021 followed by its launch in the Indian market by the end of 2021. CFMoto is likely to price the e-Scooter competitively with the Ather 450X. The brand also recently launched the 2021 BS6 compliant 300 NK in the Indian market at the price of INR 2.29 lakh ex-showroom.
