Royal Enfield announces its partnership with Ceat tyres. As a part of this deal, Ceat tyres will supply tyres for the new Classic 350. Thus, the New RE Classic 350 will now wear either the Ceat Zoom Plus or the Zoom Plus F range of tyres. Ceat confirmed the fitment sizes. These are 120/80-18 ZOOM PLUS TL 62P, 100/90-19 ZOOM PLUS F TL 57P, 120/80-18 ZOOM PLUS TT 62P, and 100/90-19 ZOOM PLUS F TT 57 P.
This is not the first that Ceat and Royal Enfield are collaborating. Previously, Ceat tyres had supplied the Zoom Cruz series for the 650cc Interceptor range. This was also the first time Ceat had made its entry into the 650cc segment and twin-cylinder engine range. Ceat has also been part of Royal Enfield’s other range of products. The list includes the likes of Meteor, Classic, the Himalayan and the Bullet Electra. They have had this relationship for a while and will look forward to continuing with the same.
CEAT’s Zoom Plus and Zoom Plus F Range Of Tyres
The Classic 350’s all three variants, namely, single-seater Classic 350, twin-seater Classic 350 and Classic 350 Single Edition, will wear these Ceat’s range of performance tyres. Ceat claims that these tyres offer excellent control at high speed with adequate grip across various terrains. The unique and continuous groves give more contact area, thus ensuring precise vehicle control. This also enables safety at leaning and high-speed cornering. Ceat mentioned that these tyres had been optimized to suit the ride and performance of the RE Classic 350.
New Royal Enfield Classic 350
Royal Enfield had recently launched the all-new Classic 350 in the Indian market. The motorcycle has been one of the brand’s top-selling products, with close to 3 million sales across the globe. And thus, to keep up with the competition, Royal Enfield has not updated the machine with significant updates both mechanically and aesthetically. Royal Enfield has put on a sticker price of INR 1,84,374 (ex-showroom) for the Redditch model. Meanwhile, the range-topping Chome model retails at INR 2,15,118 (ex-showroom).
