BYD India has launched a new limited edition variant of the BYD Atto 3 electric SUV for the Indian market. We got to see the same at the India Auto Expo 2023.
The new BYD Atto 3 Forest Green colour is only available in 1200 units. Moreover, it will also retail at a premium, costing more than the regular Atto 3. For your reference, the BYD Atto 3 price in India starts at INR 33.99 lakh (ex-showroom) and thus the limited edition Forest Green BYD Atto 3 will retail at INR 34.49 lakh (ex-showroom).
Apart from the new colour option, everything in the BYD Atto 3 remains the same. Until now, BYD Atto 3 was available in four colour options. And now Forest Green is the fifth colour option for the SUV.
What Is The BYD Atto 3?
Launched in November last year, BYD Atto 3 comes with an ARAI-claimed range of 521 km and an NEDC-claimed range of 480 km. It is the second model from the Chinese automaker for the Indian market. The other model on sale is the BYD E6 MPV. BYD Atto 3 gets three driving modes namely, Eco, Normal and Sport. Atto 3 uses a front-mounted electric motor that belts out 200 HP of max power and 310 Nm of peak torque. The company also claims that Atto 3 can go from 0 to 100 kmph in 7.3 seconds. The BYD Atto 3 electric SUV comes equipped with Blade Battery technology. With this, the SUV can charge from 0 per cent to 80 per cent within 50 minutes.

Apart from the new BYD Atto 3 colour option, BYD also showcased a new car running on Blade Battery technology for the Indian market which is the BYD Seal premium sedan. The car will hit the roads sometime in the second quarter of 2023 and the deliveries will commence during the festive season in November.
