BS6 equipped Ashok Leyland Boss LE & LX trucks launched at INR 18 lakh

One of the country’s leading commercial vehicle manufacturer Ashok Leyland has launched the BOSS LE and LX Trucks with a starting price of INR 18 Lakhs, ex-showroom Mumbai / Delhi / Chennai. The new trucks are equipped with the new i-Gen6 BS6 technology powertrains. The Boss marque has been one of the leading brand’s in the Intermediate Commercial Vehicle (ICV) segment and caters to the 11.1 tonnes to 14.05 tonne GVW market. 

The versatile products are offered with a loading span from 14 Ft to 24 Ft and body type options of a high side deck, fixed side deck, drop side deck, cab chassis, container and tipper. Thanks to its versatile body type options and loading span the Boss platform can be used in multiple applications such as parcel & courier, poultry, white goods, agri-perishable, e-commerce, FMCG, auto parts, reefer , etc. 

Customers can also choose from two cabin options and the Boss will be available as a fully built option with class-leading ergonomic and safety features for the driver. The brand has also integrated digital solutions such as i-Alert and remote diagnostics to further enhance the ease of administration for the fleet operator. With the new BS6 emissions-compliant powertrain, the Ashok Leyland Boss series also offers 7% higher fluid efficiency, up to 5% better tyre life, up to 30% longer service interval and up to 5% lower maintenance cost. 

Ashok Leyland also offers the Boss LE and LX with 4 Years / 4 Lakh Km warranty which can be extended up to 6 years. It also comes with 4 hours Response and 48 hours restoration promise improving the uptime on the truck. The Boss series is also supported with ‘Quick accident repair,’ a dedicated service bay at the brand’s workshop. The brand also offers 24×7 customer assistance Uptime Solution Centre and Service Mandi network.

Recently, the brand also launched the Bada Dost LCV at prices starting INR 7.75 lakh ex-showroom, Mumbai strengthening its position in the LCV market in the country.
