Hyundai has revealed the new Creta Electric SUV for the Indian market, which could be a game changer for the segment, and for the entire EV market in India. The Hyundai Creta nameplate has been very popular in India since the very first day of launch, and with the Creta Electric, things are only going to get bigger & better for Hyundai. Hyundai Creta Electric Range & Charging:
Hyundai will offer the Creta Electric SUV with two battery pack options. The 51.4 kWh long range battery pack will offer 473 km of range in a single full charge. The 42 kWh battery pack option will help achieve 390 kms of driving range on a full charge. Hyundai claims that with the long range battery pack, the Creta Electric will sprint from 0-100 kmph in just 7.9 seconds
Making use of a DC fast charger, the Hyundai Creta Electric can be charged from 10-80% in just 58 minutes. Hyundai will also offer a 11 kW wall box smart connected charger which can help achieve 10-100% charge in just 4 hours, which is very impressive for AC home charging solution. This will help in lower downtime due to the car being parked for charging.
Hyundai Creta Electric Features:
In the facelift avatar which was launched in 2024, the Hyundai Creta transformed into a very handsome looking SUV. Now, the 2025 Hyundai Creta Electric has further enhancements, to suit the EV aspect. Hyundai has used their flobal pixel design philosophy for the Creta Electric to stand out in our market, where we already see so many of the Creta generations. Features include a new pixel graphic front grille, integrated charging port on the front grille, pixel graphic on front & rear bumper, and LED tail lamps.
The Hyundai Creta Electric also makes use of new active air flaps which will offer not only a stylish look, but optimised aerodynamics. Hyundai will offer the new Creta Electric in a total of 4 variants which includes Executive, Smart, Premium & Excellence. There will be a total of 8 monotone exterior colour options along with 2 more dual tone paint schemes. This would also include 3 matte paint colours to suit customer requirements & personalities. There is also a new ocean blue metallic paint option along with a dual tone black roof, which is specific to the Creta Electric.
