BMW has revealed new Edition ColourVision packages for the 1-Series and the 2-Series Gran Coupe. The company wants to increase the appeal of its entry-level models to bring in more customers. The new Edition ColourVision package uses the existing M Sport models of the 1- and 2-Series as its base. However, there are also some distinctive changes.
BMW says customers can have all the variants of the two models with the Edition ColourVision package. The package will only be available in the European market as of now. The package will be available to customers from July 2022. However, BMW has not given any confirmation regarding its price.
BMW 1-Series & 2-Series Gran Coupe Edition ColourVision – Exterior Highlights
BMW offers eight standard exterior colours available through the BMW Individual program. This also includes the Frozen Grey Metallic colour option. Furthermore, the Edition ColourVision models will now also be available with any of the 50 colours from the BMW M division. These also include the Daytona Violet, Dakar Yellow and Macao Blue, which BMW re-issued for the 50th anniversary of the BMW M division.
Customers can even opt for BMW M 50 Jahre emblems for the bonnet, wheel hubs and boot lid as a no-cost option. The models also get an M Sport suspension. The sportier suspension setup drops the height by 10mm. At the same time, the M Sport steering optimises its dynamic potential.
At the front, the models also get a large, three-section lower air intake in the front apron. At the rear, they get vertically arranged air outlets and a dark diffuser in the rear apron. Both also come standard with the M High-Gloss Shadowline package to create an overall powerful appearance. Completing the look are the 18-inch M light-alloy wheels. The wheels feature a Y-spoke design and a Black/Silver bi-colour finish. The finish is exclusively available with the special-edition cars.
