BMW India has launched the new BMW X3 M priced at INR 99.90 lakh ex-showroom, India. The new X3 M has become the first-ever high-performance model in the brand’s mid-size Sports Activity Vehicle (SAV) segment to be launched in the Indian market. The BMW X3 M is now available across all BMW dealerships in India and comes to the country via the completely built-up unit (CBU) route.
The BMW X3 M is positioned in the brand’s mid-size SAV segment and features sporty performance characteristics and meets all the functional requirements to meet the high-performance category. The X3 M is powered by a BMW M TwinPower Turbo inline 6-cylinder petrol engine the pumps out 480 HP of power and 600 Nm of torque matched to a Drivelogic-enabled 8-Speed M Steptronic Automatic Transmission. The SUV gets an xDrive – intelligent four-wheel driveline that features highlights such as variable torque distribution, Hill Descent Control and Hill Start Assist. The X3 M is capable of sprinting from 0-100 kmph in just 4.2 seconds.
On the exterior, the BMW X3 M comes with equipment such as Adaptive LED Headlights, hexagonally-shaped LED daytime running lights and split LED tail lamp units. The headlamps on the X3 M come with automatic function and high-beam assist. Also offered are rain-sensing wipers, acoustic comfort glazing, auto-dimming ORVMs, panoramic glass roof, roof spoiler, roof rails finished in gloss black and BMW Individual Exterior High Gloss Shadow Line, double-spoke style 20-inch M light-alloy wheels in dual-tone, etc.
On the inside, the X3 M also features Aluminium carbon structure with Pearl Chrome interior finish, 3-zone automatic climate control air conditioning, sport seats for front driver and passenger, door sill strips with with ‘X3 M’, 12.3-inch instruments display with individual character M specific staging for Drive modes – Comfort / Efficient, Sport and Sport+. The X3 M also features Launch Control function, M Sound Control, Adaptive Suspension with ‘Comfort’ and ‘Sport’ settings, performance control function for the Active M differential, M Sport brakes, 10.25-inch colour touchscreen infotainment display with Navigation System Professional, iDrive touch with handwriting function.
The BMW X3 M is available in 6 colour options – Alpine White, Donington Grey, Toronto Red, Black Sapphire, Phytonic Blue and Sophisto Grey.
