Bentley has launched the new Bentayga V8 in India at prices starting from INR 3.78 crore (ex-showroom Mumbai). This luxury SUV is now available for order in our country and is currently sold in one standard V8 model. Customization would obviously add to the asking price.
Powering the Bentley Bentayga V8 is a new 4.0L, twin-turbo, V8 petrol alongside the previous V8 diesel engine option. With a guarantee of the V8 growl from under the hood and that backed up with twin-quad exhaust pipes, carbon ceramic brakes and the likes, the Bentley Bentayga V8 is sure to lure luxury car customers. The Bentayga V8 also comes with cylinder deactivation which allows to deactivate 4 out of 8 cylinders when need be. This switch happens in just 20 milliseconds, and you don’t even feel it inside the cabin. The Bentley Bentayga V8 will offer you a driving range of 746 km with 11.4L / 100 km efficiency.
The Bentley Bentayga comes with 4 on-road & 4 off-road driving modes. You can make the car suitable to be driven over off-roads, snow, grass, dirt, gravel, mud, trail, sand dunes and the likes. For off-road information, you also have the infotainment showing you data such as pitch, roll, wheel articulation, steering angle, compass bearing and altitude.
The Bentayga V8 also gets red brake calipers at the front and standard iron brakes at the rear. This is a special high temperature resistant Tornado red paint colour. You can also see the black grille, new alloy wheels, and black accents on the sides & bumpers.
The Bentley Bentayga comes with 4-, 5- or 7-seat configurations. Inside, you get wood & hide steering wheel and high gloss carbon fibre panel finish.
