Audi India has today announced a price hike of 2.4 per cent across all its models in India. The German luxury carmaker states that this is a direct result of rising input and supply chain costs. All the Audi cars on sale in India will see a price hike of 2.4 per cent on their ex-showroom price tag from 20th September 2022.
Mr Balbir Singh Dhillon, Head of Audi India, said that the company is committed to operating a sustainable business model. Thus, with the rising input & supply chain costs, the company had to take a price hike across its model range.
Audi India – Current Lineup
Once known for its frugal diesel engines, the present lineup of the German brand has no diesel options. The only available options now remain petrol and electric. Audi’s petrol-powered sedans include – A4, A6, A8 L, S5 Sportback and RS5 Sportback. Audi offers a host of options for people who prefer SUVs as well. These include – the Q5, Q7, Q8 and the high-performance RS Q8. Joining this list of SUVs will soon be the Audi Q3.
Audi also offers a few of its electric models in the Indian market under the e-tron brand. These include the e-tron 50 and e-tron Sportback 55. At the same time, Audi also offers its e-tron GT and the high-performance Audi RS e-tron GT in India.

Audi India has officially commenced bookings for its Q3 SUV in India. The SUV will return to the country after Audi discontinued it post BS6. Audi will offer the Q3 in two variants in India. The booking amount stands at INR 2 lakh, and the first 500 bookings will get additional ownership benefits from Audi.
Audi also released a teaser of its fourth model in its Sphere concept car series. The brand is calling it the activesphere. It will join the three other concept cars Audi released earlier – skysphere, grandsphere and urbansphere. Unlike the other Sphere concepts, the activesphere is a high-riding on-and off-road vehicle. Audi also mentioned that it will make its debut at the beginning of 2023.
