Ather Energy opens its 15th experience centre in Nashik. This showroom has come up at Patwa Ev Zone, Trambakeshwar Road, Nashik, in association with Auto Drive Pvt. Ltd. The EV has confirmed that both the Ather 450X and 450 Plus are available for test drive and purchase at the showroom. Given the current growth of EVs in the market, especially in the scooter segment, the demand is at an all-time high.
With the addition of the FAME subsidy by the central government, owning an EV becomes much more lucrative and value for money. Maharashtra state government is also providing various policies and schemes to encourage more customers to join the EV revolution. Nashik becomes the 3rd Experience Centre in Maharashtra after Mumbai and Pune.
Maharashtra State Government’s EV Schemes
Under the early-bird scheme, Maharashtra Government will provide a maximum discount of INR 10,000 if an EV is purchased before 31st December 2021. The state government will also exempt the road tax and vehicle registration for all the electric vehicles plying in the state. The state government is also providing subsidies up to 50 per cent on building charging infrastructure. Ather has set up its charging stations in the important areas of Nashik. This includes Gangapur Road, Sula Road, Pawan Nagar, Kartikey Nagar, and Trambakeshwar Road. And as per plans, more than 8 to 10 charging points will come up in the city in the coming months.
Price Details
After the recent amendment in the FAME II subsidy, Ather 450X retails at an ex-showroom price of INR 1,41,926. Meanwhile, the Ather 450 Plus has a sticker price of INR 1,22,916. All the prices mentioned are for Nashik. Ather has also confirmed that these prices will further reduce once the state government’s subsidies are enacted. The recent launch of the Ola scooter has made a significant impact among the customers looking to buy an electric scooter. Many other EV makers are also making their way into this segment with their innovative products.
