Design and Styling

The new Honda Amaze borrows several design elements from its siblings, the Honda City and Elevate, as well as the international-spec Honda Accord. The spy shots reveal dual-barrel LED projector headlights with LED DRL strips, inspired by the Accord. A chrome bar spans the length of the bonnet, similar to the City, while a honeycomb-mesh grille design adding a premium look for the new sedan.

The lower bumper features elements from the Elevate, and the split-style tail lights resemble those of the City, with three vertical strips of lighting elements added for distinction. The bumper design also takes cues from the City.

Interior Features

Inside, the cabin gets a dual-tone black and beige theme, similar to the current model. The dashboard is divided into three segments, with the upper portion housing a free-standing 8-inch touchscreen, likely borrowed from the City. Below this, a patterned element flows through the AC vents, reminiscent of the Accord. The gear knob resembles the outgoing model, while the steering wheel is similar to the one on the City and Elevate.

Advanced Features and Safety

The 2024 Honda Amaze is expected to come with a wireless phone charger, auto AC, a single-pane sunroof, six airbags, and a rearview camera. Notably, it will be the first sub-4m sedan to offer advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), enhancing safety and convenience for drivers.

Powertrain and Performance

Under the hood, the Amaze is expected to retain its 1.2-litre petrol engine, producing 90 PS of power and 110 Nm of torque. It will be available with a 5-speed manual and CVT automatic gearbox options. The sub-4m sedan is expected to be priced from INR 7.50 lakh (ex-showroom) and will compete with the Tata Tigor, Hyundai Aura, and the newly launched Maruti Dzire.
