Honda is planning to launch special editions of the Elevate SUV in the Indian market. The brand’s popular Elevate was recently launched in a new Apex Edition avatar with a number of cosmetic changes. Reports reveal that similar to the Apex Edition, the brand is likely to launch a new “Dark Edition” too. Also, Honda is likely to introduce a new “City Sports” edition of the Elevate which will get sporty interiors and exteriors. However, the changes are likely to remain cosmetic and mechanically the SUV is likely to remain the same. The two new editions are likely to be offered in limited production to keep them exclusive, reveal reports.

The Honda Elevate Dark Edition comes will come with and all-black exterior theme with chrome elements replaced by black finish elements. Also, the Dark Edition Elevate is likely to come with black finish interiors and upholstery. The alloy wheels on the Dark Edition Elevate are also likely to come with a black finish.

Honda Elevate City Sports Edition

The City Sports edition Elevate is likely to come with driver-focused exteriors and interiors. The City Sports edition could get new design alloy wheels in a dual tone finish, bumper lip, side skirts and a rear spoiler. In addition to this, the City Sports could also come with new decals on the exteriors to differentiate it from the standard. Also, the City Sports edition Elevate is likely to come with special badging on the interiors and mild changes to the colour theme, however, details of the variant is still scarce.

Under the hood, the Honda Elevate special editions are likely to remain the same and are likely to be powered by the same 1.5-litre 4-cylinder petrol engine that produces 121 Hp of power. The special edition models are also likely to come with both Manual and CVT automatic gearbox options.

Expect a slight bump in price for the special edition models. Also, reports reveal that the City Sports is likely to be offered sometime in Diwali while the Dark Edition is likely to come later next year.
