Triumph Motorcycles, in collaboration with Bajaj Auto Ltd., has officially launched the MY25 Triumph Speed 400 in India, priced at INR 2.40 lakh (ex-showroom). This is the first update the motorcycle gets after one year since it was launched. Triumph also launched a more affordable variant – the Speed T4 alongside this updated version.
Key Changes
The MY25 Speed 400 gets a few cosmetic changes and a couple of upgrades as well. The changes include:
- New Tyres: New beefier Vredestein Centauro tyres at the front and back. The rear tyre gets a wider 150 section tyre.
- Adjustable Levers: Both the clutch and brake levers get 4-step adjustment.
- New Seat: The new seat had a new design and extra cushioning.
- New Colours: 4 new colour schemes of Racing Yellow, Pearl Metallic White, Racing Red & Phantom Black.

The MY25 Triumph Speed 400 is powered by a robust 398cc TR-Series engine, delivering an impressive 40 PS of power and 37.5 Nm of torque. This engine is paired with a 6-speed gearbox. The bike is designed to cater to performance enthusiasts, featuring advanced technologies such as:
- Ride-by-Wire Throttle: Provides precise control and responsiveness.
- Switchable Traction Control: Enhances safety by preventing wheel slip.
- Torque Assist Clutch: Reduces clutch lever effort, making it easier to ride in heavy traffic.

With a price tag of INR 2.40 lakh, the MY25 Triumph Speed 400 positions itself competitively in the mid-range motorcycle segment.
