At the Auto Expo 2023, Tata Motor Cars introduced new special edition SUVs in its Dark portfolio. The Dark range in the Tata line-up already claims to have brought in personalised character for its customers. The Red Dark further expands the choice of personas that a customer can have in the Harrier and Safari SUVs.
At the first glance, it only appears to be a cosmetic job. However, Tata has added plenty of additional features and upgrades which not only include interiors but also extend to the safety department. Tata has introduced best-in-class premium features while retaining the proven Land Rover D8 platform-derived OMEGA architecture and robust yet efficient 2.0-litre Kyrotec turbo-diesel engine.
What’s new in the Harrier and Safari ‘Red Dark’ edition?
The Harrier and Safari Red Dark edition now feature a new Oberon Black body colour. The exterior also comes with Zircon Red accents on the front grille. The Harrier and Safari Red Dark also gets 18-inch Blackstone alloy wheels and Zircon Red brake callipers. In addition to this, the car also comes with Daytona Grey front and rear skid plates.
On the inside, the Harrier and Safari Red Dark comes with a Carnelian Red interior theme. The Red Dark Harrier and Safari feature a steel black dashboard design, leatherette seats with diamond quilting and leatherette grab handles on the door and centre console. The new edition Harrier and Safari also come with piano black accents on the steering wheel, centre console and doors.
