Volvo India announces the start of their 24×7 Customer Service Support. This team will take up the responsibility to provide the customers with queries related to handling, roadside assistance and more. Volvo also mentioned that India is the only country in the Volvo Asia Pacific ecosystem that gets 24×7 customer support. Customers wanting to reach out to this team can do this by dialling this toll number 18001029100. The Swedish carmaker is pretty much confident that this new Customer Service Support will help the customers with all their queries, thus providing them with much better customer satisfaction. This also indicates Volvo’s commitment and dedication to stay in the Indian market.
Volvo In India
The luxury carmaker known for its safety all around the world made its debut in India way back in 2007. Since then, Volvo has worked pretty hard to sustain itself in this ever-competitive Indian automotive industry. To quantify the growth of Volvo in India, we look out to its total dealerships in the country. Currently, there are a total of 25 dealership touchpoints present in almost all the metro cities. This includes Bengaluru, Ahmedabad, Chennai, Lucknow, Hyderabad, Visakhapatnam, Coimbatore, Delhi NCR – South Delhi, West Delhi, Gurgaon, Kozhikode, West Mumbai, South Mumbai, Indore, Kochi, Raipur, Jaipur, Kolkata, Chandigarh, Ludhiana, Pune, Surat, and Vijayawada.
Volvo Soon To Become An Electric Carmaker
Recently, the company revealed its plans to go full electric post-2030. Volvo also hinted that after 2030, they will sell their products exclusively via online sales, just like how Tesla is doing right now. As per official sources, the new generation XC60 will be an electric vehicle. To accelerate the shift in focus from ICE to battery power, Volvo has joined hands with Northvolt. This partnership will aim to develop and produce sustainable battery packs for the upcoming electric vehicles from Volvo and Polestar.
The launch of XC40 Recharge in India has been further delayed to 2022, the reason being the global short supply of semiconductors. This is one of the most anticipated launches from Volvo, as this would be the first-ever all-electric car from the brand to be launched in India.
