A few days ago, Mahindra launched the new Bolero Neo in the Indian market. The Bolero Neo is essentially a facelifted and rebadged version of the TUV300. Mahindra expects that the famous ‘Bolero’ moniker will bring in sales on the vehicle. But it is not just a nip and tuck job. The Bolero Neo also comes with redesigned exteriors, interiors designed by Mahindra-owned Italian design house Pininfarina, underpinnings for the Scorpio and Thar making it a rugged, compact SUV.

Mahindra Bolero Neo – Colour Options
Mahindra offers the Bolero Neo in five exterior colour options. The exterior colour options include the flagship Rocky Beige, Majestic Silver, Pearl White, Napoli Black and Highway Red. The brand has also announced that the Royal Gold and Diamond White colour option will also debut soon. On the inside, the Bolero Neo comes with a Black and Beige combination with a contemporary silver accent around the AC vents, central infotainment system, steering wheel, and door handles.
Mahindra Bolero Neo – Engine Specifications
Powering the Mahindra Bolero Neo is a 1.5-litre three-cylinder turbodiesel engine. The engine churns out 100 Bhp of power and 260 Nm of torque. The Mahindra Bolero Neo comes with a 5-speed manual transmission and a rear-wheel drivetrain. The brand does not offer a 4×4 drivetrain, but the top-spec variant gets MTT (Multi-Terrain Technology). MTT is essentially a mechanically locking rear differential that can sense the freewheel speed and lock the differential. Using MTT, the Bolero Neo can traverse over rough and challenging terrains with ease.

The Mahindra Bolero Neo comes with features such as LED DRLs, Static Bending Lights (cornering headlamps), rugged claddings, a high ground clearance, easy ingress and egress step board, a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Bluesense technology, premium fabric seat upholstery, Micro Hybrid technology with ESS (Electronic Start-Stop), Eco Mode, Cruise Control and seating for seven persons.

The Mahindra Bolero Neo comes with Dual airbags, ABS with EBD, cornering brake control, auto-door locks, ISOFIX seats, and other automotive industry-standard features such as seatbelt reminder, high-speed warning, reverse parking sensors etc.
