The new Kodiaq model is now officially available in India in 7 exterior colours and two variants: L&K and Sportline. The prices for these variants are as follows:

Kodiaq L&K: Rs 46.89 lakh (ex-showroom)
Kodiaq Sportline: Rs 48.69 lakh (ex-showroom)

The 2025 Kodiaq is based on a revamped chassis and platform of the outgoing model. It is bigger in size and has the latest design philosophy for Skoda models worldwide.

The key highlights of the new Kodiaq’s design include the vertical slat illuminated grille, new LED headlamps, sporty 18-inch alloy wheels, new connected LED taillights, and more.

The cabin design is also all-new, as it is equipped with a new dashboard, new two-spoke (L&K) and three-spoke (Sportline) steering wheels, a digital cockpit and a floating infotainment screen, tri-zone climate control, panoramic sunroof, ambient lighting, leather upholstery, ventilated and electrically adjustable seats, and more.

The new-gen Skoda Kodiaq is available with a single engine option, i.e. a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol motor, which develops 201 bhp and 320 Nm of power and torque, respectively. It is mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission, which is further attached to a 4×4 system.

Additionally, Skoda has equipped the new Kodiaq with a Dynamic Chassis Control system and a level 2 ADAS safety suite, which prevents the car from going out of control in critical situations.

Our verdict

The new Kodiaq SUV is the latest flagship model of Skoda in the Indian market. It competes with rivals like the MG Gloster, Volkswagen Tiguan R-Line, and the Toyota Fortuner. With the new changes, Skoda is targeting to increase its sales footprint in the premium car segment.
