Ola has introduced its new flagship S1 Pro+ model in the market with a starting price of Rs 1.55 lakh ex-showroom. It is available with two battery pack options and offers the most powerful e-scooter performance in India. Read the complete details below.

Gen 3 Ola S1 Pro+ electric scooter – bigger battery, more features, faster performance!

The new S1 Pro+ is available with a 4kWh battery pack and a 5.3kWh battery pack option. The smaller battery variant is priced at Rs 1.55 lakh, while the bigger battery pack option is priced at Rs 1.70 lakh ex-showroom. It is being offered in six colours – Porcelain White, Midnight Blue, Passion Red, Industrial Silver, Jet Black, and Stellar Blue.

The new Gen 3 model is powered by the most powerful 13kW (17.4bhp) electric motor on the 5.3kWh battery pack. With this electric motor, it can do 0-40 kmph in just 2.1 seconds, while the top speed is a claimed 141 kmph. The best part is its 320km claimed riding range.

Meanwhile, the smaller 4kWh battery pack option does 0-40 kmph in 2.3 seconds, while its top speed stands at 128 kmph claimed. It can do 242km on a single charge as per Ola. Both of the battery pack options come loaded with a TFT console, geo-fencing, navigation, music support, and four riding modes – Hyper, Sport, Normal, and Eco.

Other changes include the introduction of brake-by-wire technology. This uses electrical energy along with mechanical braking to increase the total braking efficiency by up to 15 per cent. The new Pro+ e-scooter also comes loaded with a dual-channel ABS.

Our verdict

Ola is currently the top-rated electric scooter company in India. Its long-range EVs with their latest features are in top demand among customers. However, the recent claims of poor servicing are being dealt with by Ola by offering an extended warranty of 8 years or 1,25,000km with the new S1 Pro+.
