2025 Nissan Patrol debuts, new model arrives after 14 years

Nissan has introduced the all-new Nissan Patrol SUV in the international market. The popular SUV comes with an updated platform and a long list of features and technology. In addition to this, the new Nissan Patrol also comes with updates to its exteriors as well as its interiors as well as a smaller more efficient yet more powerful engine. Also, expect the Nissan Patrol to come with updates to its off-road equipment to fend off rivals such as the Toyota Land Cruiser in the international market.

Design & Features

On the outside, the new Nissan Patrol features a new boxy design that is more rugged in appearance. the SUV features a large and imposing piano black finish grille flanked by large headlamps with E-shaped LED DRLs. The headlamps come vertically stacked and are connected by a gunmetal finished bar. The Patrol also comes with a new bumper with a sleek air dam and chrome finished housings on the fog lamps. The new Nissan Patrol also features a clamshell design bonnet, and a grille appliqué on the fenders finished with chrome surrounds. The SUV features a blacked out roof and pillars giving it a floating effect and a large glasshouse with gunmetal finish on the DLO. In addition to this, the Nissan Patrol also comes with a large taillamp unit with a connected lightbar, twin skid plates and spoiler finished in black.

Interiors & Features

On the inside, the new Nissan Patrol features twin 14.3-inch displays for the instruments as well as for the instruments cluster. The SUV also comes with a large centre console that houses multiple controls. In addition to this, the Nissan Patrol also comes with electronic shift control, multi zone climate control and large toggle controls. The new Patrol also gets a 12-speaker Klipsch sound system as well as 12.8-inch dual screens for the rear passengers mounted on the headrests. Rear passengers also get HDMI ports as well as USB ports for rear entertainment. In addition to this, the Nissan Patrol also gets wireless smartphone charging, gesture control, 360-degree camera, heads-up display and more.

Powertrain

Powering the new Nissan Patrol is a 3.5-litre twin-turbocharged V6 petrol engine paired to a 9-speed automatic transmission. The engine comes with an all-time 4-wheel drive train and produces 425 Hp of power and 700 Nm of torque which is 25 Hp more that the 5.6-litre V8. In addition tooth’s, the Patrol also comes with adaptive suspension and terrain modes such as Standard, Sand, Rock, Mud, Sport and Eco. The higher-spec variants which are more off-road focussed also comes with rear electronic differential lock, and come with a better offloading capabilities than the standard.

Will the Nissan Patrol come to India?

While the Toyota Land Cruiser is available in the Indian market, it is unlikely that the company will bring the Patrol to India.
