KTM is set to unveil its highly anticipated 2025 KTM 390 Adventure and KTM 390 Enduro models at the India Bike Week (IBW) 2024 in Vagator, Goa. This will be one of the biggest launches at IBW this year.
Performance and Design
The 2025 KTM 390 Adventure will be powered by a 399cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine, capable of producing 46 horsepower and 40 Nm of torque. This engine is paired with a 6-speed gearbox and a bi-directional quick-shifter, enhancing the overall riding experience. The Adventure model will come in two variants: Adventure R and Adventure X. The Adventure R variant is designed for serious off-road enthusiasts, featuring 21-inch front and 18-inch rear wheels, while the Adventure X variant is more road-oriented with 19-inch front and 17-inch rear wheels.
The new models boast an all-new chassis, raised front fender, tall windscreen, single-piece seat, and raised handlebars. The vertically stacked LED headlamp with DRLs and auxiliary lights, along with a fully digital instrument cluster, add a modern touch to the bike’s design.
KTM 390 Enduro Variant
The KTM 390 Enduro is built for rugged terrains and features a simpler headlamp compared to the Adventure R’s complex LED unit. It comes with enduro styling and minimal bodywork for easy replacement. The Enduro variant is equipped with 21-inch front wheel and 18-inch rear wheel, ensuring stability on challenging terrains.
Market Reception and Availability
Unofficial bookings for the new 390 Adventure have already commenced at select dealerships, indicating strong interest among enthusiasts. The Adventure R variant will come with fully adjustable WP suspension with 230mm of travel, while the Adventure X variant will offer 200mm of travel. Both models are equipped with disc brakes at both ends, ensuring strong stopping power.
KTM India’s launch of the 390 Adventure and Enduro models is expected to make a significant impact on the market, catering to both off-road and road-oriented riders. The company aims to capitalize on the growing demand for adventure motorcycles in India.
