2025 Kia K4 hatchback design and features
Design details
Revealed in the US at the New York Motor Show 2025, the new Kia K4 hatchback is based on the Kia 4 sedan. The company had earlier teased its design, which is now completely revealed.
It looks similar to the sedan version from the front, leaving aside the minor changes in the front bumper design. The key highlight on the front includes the unique LED light setup, chiselled bonnet and side panels.
The side profile gets a large rear glass and a redesigned rear quarter to accommodate the boot design. Apart from that, it gets flush-type door handles and alloy wheels ranging from 16 inches to 18 inches in size.
The rear end of the Kia K4 hatchback gets a sporty boot lid with a connected lightbar. It also features the vertical LED taillights and an integrated roof spoiler.
The interesting part is the boot space, which is 628 litres standard and 1,679 litres with the rear seats folded.
Cabin and feature details
The interior design of the hatchback is identical to the sedan version. It features the unique trinity screen display, a three-spoke steering wheel, and sporty elements like the aluminium pedals for the GT-Line variants.
The rear seat space is considerably more than the sedan version due to its increased headroom. However, the seats and the rest of the features are similar to the sedan sibling.
Some key features of the Kia K4 hatchback include wireless phone connectivity, leather upholstery, ambient lighting, electric and ventilated front seats, voice commands, rear AC, dual-zone climate control, drive modes, electric sunroof, Level 2 ADAS with 29 autonomous safety features, and more.

Our conclusion
The premium hatchback car segment is highly popular in select markets like the US itself. Kia K4 hatchback offers a great mix of the practicality of a hatchback car and the luxury and comfort of a sedan. Ironically, it will not come to India.
