Written by AnantaSaranNayak

As per recent reports, Tata Motors is testing the Altroz facelift. This update is due for its launch in 2023. The premium hatchback will get some cosmetic updates along with newly added features.

What Can We Expect From The Upcoming Tata Altroz EV?

We have some spy shots of a test mule that was under heavy camouflage. Although the overall styling looks similar, the updated Altroz comes with mild cosmetic tweaks. Thus, we can see a revised grille, headlamps, bumpers and more.

The interiors too could slight visual changes in terms of colour and new materials. Since the competition is coming up with new features and equipment. We expect Tata Motors to equip the Altroz with more attractive features and make it standout.

Thus, we won’t be surprised to find a larger infotainment system with an updated interface with the upcoming Altroz. Other additions could include a new 360-degree camera, and ventilated seats among other new features.

Engines Options To Remain Same

Currently, the Altroz is available with three engine options. These are, 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol, 1.2-litre turbo petrol and 1.5-litre diesel. No changes here, we expect the Indian carmaker to continue offering these three engine options.

Tata Motors’s EV Conquest

The Indian carmaker showcased the Altroz EV in a couple of motor shows. Given Tata Motors’ recent EV expansion drive. We assume the Atroz EV is already in progress. Thus we expect Tata Motors to launch the electric version sometime in 2023. With the growing popularity of EVs in the market. Tata Motors is currently leading the pack.

With a slew of launches in recent times, Tata Motors has become a household name in the EV four-wheeler segment. Starting with the Nexon EV and now with the Tiago EV. A customer has an EV option in all major body types. So, for the hatchback, we have the Tiago EV. For sedan lovers, Tata Motors is offering Tigor EV. And finally, we have the Nexon EV catering for SUV fans.
