Honda has launched a new variant of the Activa. The Activa H-Smart is priced at INR 80,537 ex-showroom. The scooter now comes with a smart key, which is a segment first amongst other features.

What’s new in the 2023 Honda Activa H-Smart?

The Honda Activa H-Smart comes with a smart key, which comes with a host of new features. These includes the following features:

  1. Smart Safe –

The scooter’s immobiliser is automatically activated once the smart key goes 2 meter away from the scooter. This mean, there is no need to worry about forgetting to lock the scooter after reaching your destination.

  2. Smart Find –

To locate your scooter in a parking lot, just press the button on the remote and the scooters indicators will blink twice. This system will work even upto 10 m distance.

  3. Smart Unlock –

The key is not required to be taken out of your person to do various functions like open the under seat storage, fuel lid or even start the scooter. As long as the key is within 2 meters of the Activa H-Smart, all these functions will work seamlessly.

  4. Smart Start –

Like a true keyless system, to turn on or start the scooter, just use the given knob and twist it to start the engine. All this while the key needs to remain within 2 meters of the scooter.

Honda is also offering black alloys with the scooter. The alloy is shod in new tyre compound that reduces the rolling resistance of the tyres, thereby increase the mileage. Like the standard model, the H-Smart comes with an LED headlamp, external fuel filler, and an analogue instrument console, amongst others.

Powertrain of the 2023 Honda Activa H-Smart

The Activa H-Smart will use the same 109.51cc, single-cylinder engine as the standard model. The performance output of the engine reads as 7.68 BHP of power @ 8,000 rpm and 8.84 Nm of torque @ 5,500 rpm. The suspension setup consists of telescopic forks on the front and a mono-shock unit on the rear end. Other than this, the Activa also benefits from Combined Braking System (CBS). Honda has equipped drum brakes on both the front and rear wheels of the Activa H-Smart.
