2021 Maruti Suzuki Celerio launched in India at INR 4.99 lakh

Maruti Suzuki has launched the all-new Celerio in the Indian market priced at INR 4,99,000 ex-showroom. The brand will be offering the new Maruti Suzuki Celerio with the latest design, technology and features. Maruti Suzuki recently commenced bookings on the new Celerio in the Indian market at INR 11,000 from its Arena dealerships and online sales channels.

Maruti Suzuki Celerio – Price, Colours and Variants

The Maruti Suzuki Celerio will come with new Fire Red and Speedy Blue colour options. The car also comes with Arctic White, Silky Silver, Glistening Grey, and Caffeine Brown colours. The brand is offering the Celerio with a starting price of INR 4.99 lakh ex-showroom. The Celerio will come with three main variants LXi, VXi, ZXi and ZXi+. The LXi MT comes with a price tag of INR 4.99 lakh ex-showroom.

The VXi MT is priced INR 5.63 lakh ex-showroom while the VXi AMT is priced INR 6.13 lakh ex-showroom. The ZXi MT comes with a price tag of INR 5.94 lakh ex-showroom while the ZXi AMT comes with a price tag of INR 6.44 lakh ex-showroom. The ZXi+ MT comes with a sticker price of INR 6.44 lakh ex-showroom while the ZXi+ AMT comes with a sticker price of INR 6.94 lakh ex-showroom.

Maruti Suzuki Celerio – Design and Features

The all-new Maruti Suzuki Celerio features a new and evolutionary design language. The small hatchback features a new front grille that integrates with the new sweptback headlamps. The brand also offers new well-sculpted bumpers on the front and rear as well as new taillamps. Maruti Suzuki is also employing a new 3D organic sculpted design for the radiator grille featuring unique chrome accents. The car also comes with 15-inch alloy wheels and electric ORVMs.

Maruti Suzuki Celerio – Interiors

On the inside, the new Maruti Suzuki Celerio comes with a revamped dashboard with a 7-inch central SmartPlay touchscreen infotainment screen and a control mounted steering wheel. The infotainment system comes with voice control and other connectivity features. The Celerio also gets a new analogue-digital instruments cluster. The brand is also offering new seat upholstery and convenience features on the hatchback. The brand is also offering enhanced safety and space thanks to the 5th generation HEARTECT platform that underpins the new Celerio. The interior space has been increased by 55mm as compared to the predecessor. The luggage space is also getting a 40% increase in volume.

Maruti Suzuki Celerio – Technical Specifications

Powering the Maruti Suzuki Celerio is a 1.0-litre K10C petrol engine. The three-cylinder naturally aspirated engine comes with the latest dual-jet technology and dual VVT valvetrain. The engine produces 65.7 Hp of power and 89 Nm of torque and comes with automatic start/stop technology. Thanks to the new-generation technology, Maruti Suzuki is marketing the Celerio as “India’s Most Fuel Efficient Petrol Car.” The new engine comes with a 5-speed manual gearbox as well as an AMT automatic option. The Celerio also comes with the segment-first Hill Hold Assist. The all-new Celerio claims to return 26.68 km per litre of fuel efficiency.
