Maruti Suzuki announces Smart Finance options

Thanks to customer response, Maruti Suzuki’s finance division, Maruti Suzuki Smart Finance, has introduced new financing options for their cars. Currently, Maruti Suzuki Smart Finance’s online loan sanction has been availed by over 1 lakh customers within nine months. The automaker has digitized 24 out of 26 touchpoints to assist their customer’s car-buying journey via this initiative. To change car financing in India, Maruti Suzuki introduced the first multi financier, end-to-end, and unique online car financing solution.

Online Financing Solution

This solution also helped customers complete their vehicle financing process thanks to a transparent and hassle-free, real-time loan tracking facility. The online financing solution offers other features such as credit score-based interest rates and pre-approved custom-generated loan offers. Other key features include online document sharing, integrated car exchange journey, and optional Co-applicant financing with no extra fees. Since its launch, Maruti Suzuki Smart Finance has amassed over INR 6500 crore and over 34 lakh customer visits.

Arena and NEXA Financers

With the financing solution available to all Arena and NEXA customers, the company has brought on board 16 financiers. These include HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, Yes Bank, Axis Bank, State Bank of India, IndusInd Bank, and Bank of Baroda. Following those are Cholamandalam Finance, AU Small Finance Bank, Mahindra Finance, Kotak Mahindra Prime, Sundaram Finance, and HDB Financial Services.

Maruti Suzuki aims to simplify car financing with other financers, including Karur Vyasa Bank, Federal Bank, and Toyota Financial Services (India). Via Maruti Suzuki Smart Finance, the automaker enables customers to design and customize their own loan plans. The company also promotes and empowers individuals to select their trusted finance partner among a plethora of financing options.

Recently, Japanese automaker Maruti Suzuki plans to launch its new, next-gen S-Cross on November 25th, 2021, based on information from sources. For the global release, Suzuki has made changes to the 2022 S-cross, including a new front grille and redesigned alloy wheels. According to sources, Suzuki plans to offer new light hybrid technology (MHEV) along with an updated 1.5-litre petrol motor. Paired to a 6-speed manual or automatic transmission, the new powertrain will also sport a 48V mild-hybrid system. The automaker also plans to equip the 2022 S-Cross with its unique ‘AllGrip’ 4X4 drive system.
