Renault India has launched a new 2020 NEOTECH edition, a limited-edition model on the brand’s key sales driver the Renault KWID hatchback. The limited-edition special model will be available in the 0.8-litre Manual Transmission, 1.0-litre Manual Transmission and 1.0-litre Automated Manual Transmission variants. The limited-edition Kwid Neotech edition is INR 30,000 more expensive than its respective corresponding trim and is offered in two dual-tone paint themes. The Kwid Neotech edition is offered in two paint options – Zanskar Blue body with Silver roof and Silver body with Zanskar Blue roof.
In addition to the new paint livery, the new Renault Neotech edition also features a chrome add-on grille, NEOTECH door claddings, blacked-out B-pillar, 3D decals on the C-pillar and flex wheels. On the inside, the Renault Kwid Neotech features Neotech specific seat upholstery with blue inserts & blue stitching, an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with integrated Apple car play and Android Auto connectivity, USB sockets for the front passengers, Aux out sockets and chrome AMT dial.
In 2019, the French manufacturer upgraded the entry-level hatchback with new SUV-inspired exteriors, several first-in-class features, a new bold design with several enhancements that made the Kwid a stylish and contemporary car with an affordable price tag. The low price point and economical cost of ownership are because the Kwid is localised to almost 98% also fulfilling the ‘Make in India’ commitment.
The Renault Kwid is powered by a BS6 compliant 0.8-litre three-cylinder engine that produces 54 PS of power and a 1.0-litre three-cylinder engine that produces 68 PS of power and 98 Nm of torque matched to a 5-speed manual and AMT automatic gearbox. The Renault Kwid is offered with an 8-inch Touchscreen MediaNAV Evolution, first-in-class LED digital instrument cluster, one-touch lane change indicator, a floor console-mounted AMT dial, speed-dependent volume control and a boot capacity of 279 litres. The Renault Kwid is also offered with an optional extended warranty up to 5 years & 100,000 Km from the date of vehicle delivery.
The Renault Kwid NEOTECH Petrol MT 0.8-litre is priced at INR 4,29,800 the Petrol MT 1.0-litre SCE is priced at INR 4,51,800 and the Petrol EASY- R 1.0-litre SCE is priced INR 4,83,800 ex-showroom, New Delhi.
