Skoda Slavia – A Revolution In The Sedan Segment?
Skoda India has already unveiled its upcoming model in the market, the Slavia. From the initial impression, the sedan looks quite scintillating and striking. Being a Skoda, the car will surely grab attention and make you stare. But, given the story of the sedan segment in India, will Slavia survive? Skoda is quite optimistic about the project.
Moreover, with Slavia they are aiming to revive the dying sedan segment in the country. And who better than Skoda to do so. Ever since Skoda made its entry to the country, the carmaker has had its fair share of success. All its offerings, especially in the sedan segment, have done so much. Be it the entry-level sedan in form of the Rapid or the enthusiasts favourite Octavia, Skoda has created a cult following.
With Slavia, as well, the Czech Republic-based car manufacturer will aim to repeat the same. With the Rapid out of production, Slavia won’t face any self-cannibalism. But this will stand true if Skoda gets the pricing correct. We will have all the car details and trims on offer information within 2 months from now. Skoda India has surprised us with the pricing previously, and we wait to see how it stands for the Slavia.
