Yamaha YZF-R15 gets new silver & neon paint scheme, but not in India

Yamaha has introduced a new colour on the YZF-R15. Unfortunately, this paint theme is only available in the Malaysian market. The new Silver & Neon paint scheme enhances the motorcycle’s cuts and crease lines making it appear even more sporty. Apart from the new paint scheme, the popular entry-level supersport remains unchanged. Whether Yamaha will bring this new paint scheme to the Indian market is still a question. The brand recently introduced a new Red colour option in the Indian market.

New Paint Theme

The Yamaha YZF-R15 in the Malaysian market is similar in design and performance to the Indian counterpart except for the upside-down front fork unit. The new Silver & Neon paint enhances the motorcycles sporty nature as more of its design intricacies are now visible. The model features silver bodywork in combination with a grey front fender, fuel tank spine, lower headlamp cowl and tail cowl. The dark grey finish also continues on the body graphics. The exhaust cover features a carbon fibre weave textured plastic and the alloy wheels are painted in a fluorescent Neon shade. The body graphic on the side fairings and tail cowling also come with a hint of neon. The front suspension of the motorcycle comes with a gold finish that creates a contrast in the paint theme.
