What’s new in the 2023 Yamaha Street Rally 125 Fi Hybrid (Disc)?

Apart from the new colour options, the only other highlight is the reworked engine. This engine offers riders the same performance as before, but it now does so with better emissions. The main reason for this is compatibility with E20 fuel and confirmation with new OBD2 norms. Performance numbers for this 125cc motor reads as 8.2 PS of peak power @ 6,500 rpm and a max torque of 10.3 Nm @ 5,000 rpm. This powertrain also comes with a smart motor generator system that offers an automatic start / stop system. When the engine is spinning, the smart motor generator acts like an electric motor and offers additional thrust to the engine. Thereby improving the efficiency as well.

Another of the bike maker’s initiatives is the Y-Connect app. This features allows the rider of the scooter to pair his/her smartphone with the scooter. Thanks to this, phone alerts like calls, SMS/Email notifications can be displayed on the instrument cluster. The Y-Connect also displays the connected smartphone’s battery level on the instrument cluster.
