It is an exciting time if you are buying a new Yamaha motorcycle. The Japanese bikemaker has launched a bunch of new bikes. Some of them got new features and updates. One of them is the Yamaha FZ-X which is priced at INR 1,35,900.
As part of the ongoing ‘The Call of the Blue’ brand campaign, Yamaha updated the range of bikes in the 149-155cc. The main aim of the company is to offer new features and delight them with this. The Japanese bike maker has offered Traction Control system as a standard feature on these range of bikes.
What’s new in the 2023 Yamaha FZ-X?
The 2023 Yamaha FZ-X now gets a new fascia and gets LED turn indicators as part of this update. The overall styling remains the same. This is a god thing because, the FZ S had always been a great looking motorcycle. Thus, the overall design has remained largely unchanged.
Yamaha is offering a traction control system on the 2023 Yamaha FZ-X as standard. Apart from that, the a bike now comes with LED indicators and a new colour option. Customers can opt to get their Yamaha FZ-X with a Dark Matt Blue with golden coloured rims.
Yamaha is also offering features like all round disc brakes with single-channel ABS, a Multi-function LCD instrument cluster, an LED headlight, a tire-hugging rear mudguard and a lower engine guard.
Powertrain of the 2023 Yamaha FZ-X
Coming to the powertrain of the bike, Yamaha has equipped the bike with a 149 cc engine that develops 12.4 PS @ 7,250 rpm and a peak torque of 13.3 Nm @ 5,500 rpm.
The bike is also now compatible with the OBD 2 norms. This means, Yamaha has fitted an Onboard diagnostic device which is compliant with the new emission norms. It will throw out a warning in case there is any issue with the emission’s system.
Yamaha Y-Connect App
Yamaha is also offering a connected-bike app wit the MT-25 Version 2.0. When paired with the bike, smartphone alerts like calls, SMS/Email alerts and the phones battery is displayed on the instrument cluster.
