Volkswagen Passenger Cars India has added yet another sales & service touchpoint to its network. This latest one has come up in Jammu. Located at Greater Kailash Chowk, NH-1A, the new touchpoint will cater to Jammu and its surrounding regions. With the introduction of this sales and service touchpoint in Jammu, VW will present its range of German-engineered products and services for Indian customers. This is a 6-car display showroom. VW will leverage all the space to showcase its much-in-demand Taigun and striking new Virtus. Customers can experience the best of Volkswagen with the Tiguan, which is also its global top-seller.
Taigun And Virtus In Much Demand
With the launch of the Taigun & Virtus in India, VW has relaunched itself into the market with a new identity. The increasing number of customers proves the popularity of the brand. Both products have witnessed an increased demand from customers across the country. Thus to make VW more accessible, they are expanding to new regions. Hence we are witnessing accelerated growth in terms of the number of dealerships in the country.
Service Workshop Details
Along with the product offerings, the Volkswagen Jammu service touchpoint will also have a service workshop. The workshop address reads as, Plot No. 170, Sainik Colony, Opposite Jodhamal Public School, Jammu – 180011. To cater to the service requirements of the region managed by skilled and trained technicians. The 6-bay workshop and body shop will cater to the repair, spares, and maintenance requirements, thus adding to the peace of mind ownership experience.
With the inauguration of Volkswagen Jammu, the current network strength of VW has increased to 153 sales and 121 service touchpoints present across 115 cities in India. Given the success of Virtus and Taigun in the market, we expect VW India to come up with more products for the Indian market. With the rise in demand for SUVs, maybe the VW Group is working on a compact SUV. So, for now, we wait and watch.
