Vinfast showcased its popular electric models in India earlier this year at the Bharat Mobility Show. The Vietnamese brand then confirmed that it would be launching its products in India later this year.

While the details of the upcoming product lineup were not revealed, it is rumoured that the V7 electric crossover will be launched initially. It is the brand’s premium model, which is equipped with advanced tech, features, and battery performance.

Now, adding to the progress, it appears that Vinfast has sent the V7 to the ARAI in Pune recently. We assume this because of the two production V7 cars that were spied on a flatbed truck in the PMC area (near ARAI) in Pune.

It is very well possible that these cars are being sent for the homologation purpose to the ARAI. With all the required certifications, Vinfast will launch the V7 to position itself in the premium EV segment, which currently has rivals like the BYD Atto 3.

Speaking of the V7, it is equipped with a 75.3 kWh battery that offers a range of up to 450 km and 348 bhp of peak power.
