The Ultraviolette F99 electric motorcycle has set a new top speed record of 258 KMPH, making it the fastest motorcycle ever produced by an Indian manufacturer. The record was achieved at the National Automotive Test Tracks (NATRAX) under meticulously controlled conditions.
The Ultraviolette F99 combines cutting-edge aerodynamics, state-of-the-art battery technology, and lightweight construction to deliver unmatched performance. The motorcycle features a carbon-fiber exoskeleton and a high-performance 400V battery pack, resulting in a peak output of 90 kW (122 hp) and 972 Nm of torque.
Ultraviolette F99 Testing Details
The record-setting attempt took place at NATRAX, a high-speed test track designed to ensure safety and accuracy. Expert riders were tasked with extracting the absolute maximum from the Ultraviolette F99. Instruments were carefully calibrated, tyre pressures were set, and the F99 was in perfect running order. The end result was a top speed of 258 KMPH, verified and recognized by the India Book of Records.
The F99 managed the 0-100 KMPH sprint in just 3.03 seconds and hit 200 KMPH in 9.21 seconds. The lightweight carbon-fiber exoskeleton and ultra-light 400V battery pack contributed to the motorcycle’s impressive performance.
The F99 is not a production vehicle yet and will not be available anytime soon. However, there is no other motorcycle in the market that is capable what the F99 has achieved. If launched, the F99 will have no competition at this time.
Our Thoughts
