Trouve Motor teases Hyper-Maxi Scooter H2 with 230 km range

Trouve Motors, a startup electric vehicle company aided by IIT-Delhi, has teased the brand’s third product in the Indian market. This time around, Trouve is teasing an electric scooter. But this is no ordinary electric scooter. The brand reveals that the new electric scooter will set new benchmarks in the e-scooter segment. New benchmarks in terms of both design and powertrain features. Trouve Motors has christened the electric scooter H2, and it is positioned in the hyper-maxi segment. 

Trouve H2 Hyper-Maxi Electric Scooter – Design

The Trouve H2 hyper-maxi electric scooter comes with a futuristic design and large proportions. The teaser image reveals the e-scooter’s silhouette, giving us a glimpse into the future. The Hyper-Maxi H2 comes with a sleek and sharp front apron along with a tall windscreen. The scooter appears to have a step-over design with ergonomically designed seats and an aerodynamic body to improve battery efficiency. The hyper-maxi electric scooter is also likely to come with large alloy wheels.

The Trouve Motors H2 hyper-maxi electric scooter comes with features such as LED headlights and digital instruments cluster. The e-scooter will also get 4G connectivity with built-in Google offering internet-driven riding features. The Trouve electric scooter will also come with upside-down front fork suspension, monoshock suspension on the rear and 2-piston brake callipers for optimum brake bite and feel.

Trouve H2 Hyper-Maxi Electric Scooter – Powertrain

Powering the Trouve Motors H2 Hyper-Electric scooter will be a liquid-cooled electric motor coupled to a belt drive single-speed transmission. The electric motor offers a continuous power of 4.8 kW and peak power of 7.9 kW. Thanks to the powerful motor unit, the scooter can sprint from 0 to 60 kmph in just 4.3 seconds. The scooter will also be able to return a range of 130-230 km on a single charge. 

Trouve Motors has completely designed the Hyper-Maxi H2 electric scooter at the company’s R&D facility in Bangalore. The brand also revealed that it is currently working on three more models in the maxi-scooter segment, to be deployed next year. Also, the brand is working on two electric motorcycles – a futuristic sports motorcycle and another modern-classic electric bike.
