Powering the Triumph Tiger 660 is a liquid-cooled 660cc in-line three-cylinder DOHC engine. The Triumph Triple engine comes with a 240-degree firing order, multipoint sequential electronic fuel injection and electronic throttle control. Thanks to this, the compact engine is able to produce 81 PS of power and 64 Nm of torque matched to a 6-speed transmission with a wet multi-plate slipper clutch. The brand also offers a stainless steel three into one header system and a single mid-ship exhaust.
The Triumph Tiger Sport 660 features a tubular steel perimeter frame with a twin-sided swingarm. The motorcycle rides on Showa 41mm USD separate function forks on the front, offering 150mm of travel. The rear comes with a Showa monoshock with remote hydraulic preload adjustment, which also offers 150mm of wheel travel. Braking power comes from Nissin twin 310mm discs on the front and a single 255mm Nissin disc brake unit on the rear with dual-channel ABS. The Tiger Sport 660 features 1418 mm of wheelbase, 835 mm of seat height, 17.2-litre fuel tank and 206 kg of weight at the kerb. The motorcycle also gets 17-inch front and rear alloy wheels shod in road-biased tyres.
The Triumph Tiger 660 features all-LED lighting and a multi-functional instrument with a TFT display. Thanks to the Triumph connectivity system, the display offers turn-by-turn navigation, GoPro control, and phone interaction.
