The Triumph Tiger Sport 660 comes with an introductory price tag of INR 8.95 lakh ex-showroom. The motorcycle costs almost INR 1.5 lakh more than the Triumph Trident 660 upon which it is based. In comparison, the Kawasaki Versys 650 comes with a price tag of INR 7.15 lakh ex-showroom. The Suzuki V-Strom 650XT comes with a sticker price of INR 8.84 lakh ex-showroom. This makes the Tiger Sport 660 the priciest of the lot.

Powering the Tiger Sport 660 is a liquid-cooled 660cc inline three-cylinder 12-valve DOHC engine. The motor features a 240-degree firing order and produces 81 PS of power and 64 Nm of torque matched to a 6-speed transmission unit with a wet multi-plate slipper clutch. On the other hand, the Versys 650 comes with a liquid-cooled 649cc parallel-twin engine. The fuel-injected DOHC 8-valve engine produces 66 PS of power and 61 Nm of torque matched to a 6-speed gearbox. The Suzuki V-Strom 650XT comes with a liquid-cooled 645cc 90-degree V-Twin-cylinder 8-valve DOHC motor with Suzuki Dual Throttle Valve (SDTV) fuel injection system and dual spark ignition. The engine produces 70 PS of power and 62 Nm of torque matched to a 6-speed constant mesh gearbox. 

Triumph Tiger Sport 660 Vs. Kawasaki Versys 650 Vs. Suzuki V-Strom 650XT – Suspension

The Triumph Tiger Sport 660 comes with Showa upside-down 41mm separate function cartridge forks offering 150mm of travel. The motorcycle gets a Showa monoshock RSU, with remote hydraulic preload adjustment offering 150mm wheel travel on the rear. The Versys 650 features a 41 mm upside-down telescopic fork with 150mm of wheel travel on the front. On the rear, the bike comes with an offset laydown monoshock with remote spring preload adjustability offering 145 mm of wheel travel. The Suzuki V-Strom 650XT features conventional 43mm hydraulic front fork suspension with coil springs and an oil-damped link-type spring preload-adjustable rear suspension. Roughly the non-adjustable front suspension provides around 150mm of travel.

The Versys 650 comes with 1,415 mm of wheelbase, 170 mm of ground clearance, 840 mm of seat height, 21-litre of the fuel tank and 218 kg of weight. The Suzuki V-Strom 650XT features 1,560 mm of wheelbase, 170 mm of ground clearance, 835 mm of seat height, 20-litre fuel tank and 216 kg kerb weight.
