Toyota has announced a new customer-centric initiative. The Japanese carmaker will now offer complementary 5-year Extended Roadside Assistance on all vehicles from 1st August 2023.
Customers will get peace of mind thanks to this RSA program. The inclusions in these cover car breakdowns, accidents and towing support. Further, jump start for dead batteries, puncture repairs and low fuel assistance is offered as well. Customers will also get a taxi service for up to 50 km free of cost.
One more noteworthy feature of this Roadside Assistance is the Find Me function. Under this, customers can be tracked in case of emergency. The D-RSA process will enable customers to get help in a much faster way. Another inclusion is the Vehicle Custodian Service. Under this, Toyota will provide additional personal support in case of roadside emergencies.
Toyota car owners who purchased / will purchase their rides after 1 August 2023 will be able to use the RSA for up to 5 years from the date of sale at no additional price.
Toyota Bharat has revealed the Rumion MPV for the Indian market. This is nothing but the Maruti Ertiga. Toyota will be launching the MPV in the upcoming days. It will be offered in six variants along with a CNG option as well.
The Rumion will be another MPV in the Toyota stable. It joins the Innova Crysta, the Innova Hyryder and the Vellfire.
Compared to the Ertiga, the Rumion has a few differences. These include an Innova-esque grille, new front bumper and dual-tone alloy wheels.
The Toyota Rumion will be offered in S, G and V variants. Amongst these, all will get the manual transmission while the automatic will be offered in S and V trims only. CNG is offered in S MT.
