Mysore-based Toutche Electric, an electric micromobility start-up, has launched a new electric-hybrid e-bike in India. The new e-bike, Heileo H100, is a unique generation hybrid style electric bike. The new e-bike comes with a price tag of INR 48,900. The brand has announced that bookings for the new Toutche Heileo H100 have commenced today (5th June 2021). Toutche Electric will retail the new e-bike alongside its Heileo M100, M200 and H200 e-bike models. Interested customers can log on to the official website to book the Heileo H100 e-bike.
Toutche Heileo H100 – Design and Styling
The brand boasts that the Heileo H100 comes with a “progressive visual design & a swanky look”. The e-bike is targeted towards the young generation of cyclists. The e-bike is also suitable for enthusiasts that ride for fun, recreation as well as adventure. The brand offers the e-bike with two colour options – Feta White and Spring Green. The bike also features subtle graphics and Heileo lettering on the sides.
Toutche Heileo H100 – Mechanical Features
The Heileo H100 features 6061 aluminium alloy wheels and 7-speed gear from Japanese cycling components manufacturer Shimano. The aluminium frame is light to ride, and the cyclist can use the gears to reduce the pedal load. The e-bike also comes with mechanical disc brakes on both ends. The e-bike does not come with any suspension nor front or rear, saving energy loss in urban riding.
Toutche Heileo H100 – Electric Powertrain
The Heileo H100 e-bike comes with a 250W BLDC motor. The electric motor is integrated into the rear hub and draws power from a 345 & 460 watt-hours lithium-ion detachable battery pack. The battery made from Panasonic cells can deliver 60 to 80 km of range on a full charge with pedal-assist mode, depending on the variant. The e-bike can also run on pure electric mode.
The Heileo H100 comes with 5-levels of Power Assist with a throttle on the right-hand side. The brand also reveals that the e-bike follows international quality standards. The brand also offers a 2-year warranty on the frame and 18 months warranty on the electric motor, battery, and controller. Toutche also offers service facilities in 18 cities in India.
