Tata Tiago, Tigor & Nexon facelift revealed with BS6 engines, bookings open

Ahead of their official debut, Tata Motors has taken the opportunity to make a digital reveal of their upcoming BS6 products. Apart from the updated engines, Tata Motors has given their popular products a mild makeover to fight new competition. Bookings are now open for the BS6 compliant Tiago, Tigor and Nexon passenger cars and these have also received a facelift stepping into 2020. Tata Motors has clearly mentioned that the Tiago, Tigor and Nexon in 2020 will be priced higher than their older models. Bookings are open for INR 11,000 and the official launch is expected to happen later in January 2020. All of these 3 cars will now sport the Impact 2.0 Design language.

The Tiago is seen in a new shade of bright yellow in the 2020 iteration. The budget hatchback will get a new front grille, new chrome accents on the grille, new headlamp, new fog lamp, new sporty bumpers, contrast painted ORVM, changes to the tail lamp, etc. The Tigor will also come with new front and rear bumper designs, changes to the headlamp and tail lamp, new fog lamp housing, new LED DRLs, new maroon body colour, etc. The 2020 Tata Nexon will be heavily reprofiled with new headlamps, new LED DRLs, new tail lamps, new front grille, new front and rear bumpers, new alloy wheels, new body colour, etc.

Tata Motors has also mentioned there would be new feature additions to these mass market favourite cars.

The Tiago, Tigor and Nexon; all three cars used to come in petrol and diesel engine options. However, the 1.05L Revotorq diesel engine on the Tiago and Tigor will not be upgraded to BS6 emission norms, hence these two cars will now be sold as petrol-only. All 3 models will come with the convenience of an AMT automatic gearbox option.
