Tata Nexon spotted testing, facelift or all-new?

Written by AnantaSaranNayak

In the latest scoop, we have big news from the house of Tata Motors. The latest upcoming Nexon has been spied. This is the first time that the New-gen Tata Nexon has been spotted. The compact SUV will most likely get its second-generation update. It is understood that the SUV will come with drastic changes inside out.

What Do The Spy Shots Tell?

The new Nexon as seen in the spy shots gets a very similar silhouette when compared to the current model on sale. The prototype spotted here interestingly looks like the EV version of the car. We say this because of the completely wrapped front profile.

The SUV will most likely come with a redesigned hood, headlights, bumper and grille. We expect Tata Motors to work on the side profile as well. Thus, we might get to see some tweaks in terms of cuts and creases and a new alloy wheel design. The rear looks much sleeker now than before having a clean tailgate design with a sharp edge.

What Changes Could We See On The Inside?

On the inside as well, we expect some major changes as well. The dashboard will most likely be completely redesigned for a fresh appeal. We expect to see more digital tech in the next-gen Nexon. Thus, the new-age digital instrument cluster and touchscreen infotainment system showcased at the Auto Expo could make its debut.

Tata Motors will include more tech and features to compete against the cutthroat competition in the sub-4-meter SUV segment. Under the hood, there are chances that Tata Motors might use a new turbo petrol engine option. For the EV spec as well, we might get to see a more powerful electric powertrain with a longer range. Tata Motors will mostly continue to offer the diesel engine option, which will give an edge over some of its rivals.

Price And Launch Timeline

As of now, we do not have any pricing or launch timeline. But, chances are high that the 2nd gen Nexon could make its way sometime in early 2024.
