Tata Motors launches Safari Jet Edition in India

Tata Motors has launched all-new Jet Editions of three of its most popular SUVs in the country. One of the leading automobile and SUV brands in India, Tata Motors, says the new Jet Editions are inspired by business jets. Thus, these new Jet Editions will appeal to customers who love opulence and also want to soar high in luxury. The Jet Editions of the Nexon, Harrier and Safari come with exclusive exterior and interior colour options. All three SUVs also get additional features. We’ve taken a look at the Jet Edition of the Nexon and Harrier, and now let’s take a look at Tata’s flagship SUV, the Safari.

Tata Safari Jet Edition – Variants & Pricing

The Tata Safari Jet Edition will be available in a total of 4 variants. It will come in both manual and automatic as well as 6-seater and 7-seater configurations. The four variants of the Safari Jet Edition are – XZ+ Diesel (7-seater), XZ+ Diesel (6-seater), XZA+ Diesel (7-seater) and XZA+ Diesel (6-seater). The XZA+ variants are automatic variants. Tata Safari Jet Edition – What’s New?

Like the Jet Editions of the Nexon and Harrier, the Safari Jet Edition also gets a new Starlight exterior colour. The dual-tone exterior colour combines an Earthy Bronze body and a Platinum Silver-coloured roof. The Jet Edition also adds Jet Black alloy wheels as well as front and rear skid plates in silver colour. 

Updates to the inside are similar to the Harrier Jet Edition as well. Thus, it gets Tri-Arrow Oyster White Benecke-Kaliko leatherette seats and Granite Black trim. The techno-steel bronze finish on the dashboard is also similar to the Harrier and Nexon’s Jet Editions. Similarly, there are bronze accents on the floor consoles and doors. The seats come with deco bronze stitching, and the front seat headrests get ‘JET’ embroidery.  

As for new features, it gets all the ones as on the Harrier Jet Edition and more. Thus, it gets additional advanced ESP features on top of the existing 14 safety functions. These include Panic Brake Alert, Driver Doze off alert and After Impact Brake. There will also be USB Type-C chargers for all rows on the Safari. In addition to all this, the flagship SUV will also get Winged Comfort Head Restraints for the second-row bench and captain seats. Other feature highlights include Wireless Android Auto / Apple Carplay, a wireless charger, and an air purifier.
