Tata Motors launches Harrier Jet Edition in India

One of the leading automobile and SUV brands in the country, Tata Motors, has revealed its new range of Jet Edition SUVs in India. The new Jet Editions will be available for the Nexon, Harrier and its flagship SUV, the Safari. These Jet Editions draw inspiration from business jets, and the brand says it will appeal to buyers who love opulent interiors. All the Jet Edition come with an exclusive exterior as well as interior colour themes. Let’s take a look at the Jet Edition of the Harrier SUV.

Tata Harrier Jet Edition – Variants & Pricing

Tata will offer the Harrier Jet Edition in a total of two variants. The Jet Edition variants are based on the top-end XZ variants of the Harrier. Buyers will also get to choose between a manual and automatic variant. The two Harrier Jet Edition variants are – XZ+ Diesel and XZA+ Diesel. The former is the manual variant, while the latter is the automatic variant. 

Pricing for the Tata Harrier Jet Edition starts at INR 20.90 lakh ex-showroom for the XZ+ Diesel variant. Meanwhile, the XZA+ Diesel, which is the automatic variant, comes with a sticker price of INR 22.20 lakh ex-showroom. 

Tata Harrier Jet Edition – What’s New?

On the outside, the Harrier Jet Edition comes with a new Starlight exterior colour. This dual-tone exterior colour is a combination of an Earthy Bronze body and a Platinum Silver roof. The Harrier Jet Edition also gets Jet Black alloy wheels and silver skid plates at the front and rear. 

The Harrier Jet Edition’s interior comes in with luxurious Tri-Arrow perforated Oyster White Benecke-Kaliko leatherette seats and Granite Black trim, which adds to the exclusivity. Tata has also added a techno-steel bronze finish mid-pad which runs across the width of the instrument panel. Elevating the overall experience are the bronze accents on the doors and floor consoles. The seats come with bronze deco stitching, while the front headrests also get a ‘JET’ embroidery.

The Jet Edition also adds a host of features to the Harrier. The SUV now features various advanced ESP features. These include Driver Doze off alert, Panic Brake alert and After Impact Braking. For more convenience, the Harrier now features USB Type-C charging points. The Harrier Jet Edition now comes with 4-disc brakes for better braking performance. The Harrier Jet Edition’s manual, as well as automatic variants, come with an electronic parking brake. Other features include Wireless Android Auto / Apple CarPlay, an air purifier and a wireless charger.
