Suzuki recently launched their new 250cc engine developed specially for the Indian market with the Gixxer SF 250 full faired motorcycle. Now, the brand has introduced a MotoGP livery edition of the Gixxer SF 250 priced at INR 1,71,456 ex-showroom Delhi. Suzuki claims that this bike takes styling cues from the GSX-R and Hayabusa range of motorcycles in terms of appearance.

The 2019 Gixxer SF 250 MotoGP Edition sports the iconic racing blue shade on the MotoGP spec race bikes from Suzuki. The 2019 Suzuki MotoGP GSX-RR has similar livery, and this Gixxer SF 250 MotoGP Edition will add some extra funk to ones daily ride. The bike sports Team Suzuki Ecstar decals and neon rim stripes as well for visual differentiation compared to the standard models.

Powering the Suzuki Gixxer SF 250 MotoGP Edition is the same engine. This MotoGP livery is only cosmetic and no mechanical changes have been made. The bike runs with a 249cc, single-cylinder with Suzuki Oil Cooling System (SOCS), 4-stroke, fuel-injected, SOHC motor producing 26.5 PS of power and 22.6 Nm of torque matched to a 6-speed gearbox. With SEP technology, this engine is specific to India as the 250cc class GSX-R models abroad get a twin-cylinder engine.

The Suzuki Gixxer SF 250 MotoGP Edition continues with the LED headlamp, LED tail lamp, full digital speedo console, dual exhaust muffler, brushed aluminium finish for alloy wheels, rear tyre hugger, split seats, telescopic front forks, rear monoshock and mirrors mounted on the front fairing with a very small fly screen.

The Suzuki Gixxer SF 250 MotoGP Edition has a dual-channel ABS system as standard.

Rivals to the Suzuki Gixxer SF 250 include the Honda CBR250R, KTM RC200, Yamaha Fazer-25. For just the looks, this 2019 Suzuki Gixxer SF 250 MotoGP Edition surely is one attractive motorcycle for the premium two-wheeler segment.
