Suzuki Burgman Street now available in new colours

Suzuki Motorcycle India Limited announced the launch of new colours for Burgman Street. The Standard Edition of the scooter and the Ride Connect Edition is now available with a new colour called ‘Glossy Gray’. Along with Burgman, Suzuki has also introduced new colours for Access 125.

Suzuki mentioned that the Suzuki Burgman Street will now come with a side stand interlock as mandated by the Government. And hence with this, the vehicle won’t start when the interlock is engaged, thus enhancing the rider’s safety. Another key highlight of Burgman Street is its dual-tone seat colour, along with a dual-tone inner leg shield. This makes the scooter look much more premium and elegant. Suzuki has put on a sticker price of INR 85,990 (ex-showroom) for Burgman Street.

Suzuki Burgman Mechanicals

Powering the scooter is a BS6 compliant 125cc engine that makes 8.7 BHP and 10 Nm. Suzuki claims that this fuel-injected motor provides much smoother power delivery and better fuel injection. Another key feature that comes with the Burgman is a start and kill switch that comes integrated with the engine. Fuel capacity is also adequate with 5.5-litres and is more than enough for intra-city commutes. One can expect around 200 to 220 kilometres of range for a fuel tank. In terms of fuel efficiency, one can expect a range of 40 to 45 litres for one litre.

Suzuki Burgan Street comes with a hefty price tag, and hence one can expect all the features. This includes full-LED lighting, a Bluetooth enabled digital instrument cluster, estimated time of arrival updates, phone battery level, caller ID, turn-by-turn navigation, missed call alert, message notification, over speed warning and more. Moreover, riders can also get the last parked location and share the trip information using the app. In terms of shortage space, the scooter gets two cubby holes on the front apron and big under-seat storage space.
