Renowned Japanese motorcycle manufacturer Suzuki has announced a brand new colour option for its 2022 Hayabusa throughout the global market. The 2022 Suzuki Hayabusa sported 2 colours- Metallic Matte Sword Silver with Candy Daring Red and Glass Sparkle Black with Candy Burnt Gold. Suzuki has now added a Pearl Brilliant White with Metallic Matte Stellar Blue accents for the 2022 Hayabusa.
The new 2022 Suzuki Hayabusa features a contemporary yet timeless design that serves as an evolution from its predecessor. Suzuki has ensured to enhance and improve the aerodynamic capabilities of the Hayabusa by adding a new air diffuser. Integrated within the bodywork, the diffuser cocoons the rider from external elements, specifically the winds at high speeds.
The Hayabusa’s latest colour involves ‘Pearl Brilliant White’ body panels with minor chrome accents for a bright and uplifting stance. The bike sports Matte Stellar Blue accents on the front beak, rear seat outline panel, and side air vents. In India, Suzuki has priced the 2022 Hayabusa at a price tag of INR 16.40 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
Powering the 2022 Hayabusa is a 1340cc in-line four-cylinder four-stroke engine that produces 187 PS and 150 Nm. Along with liquid-cooling and DOHC technology, the engine also features new throttle bodies and a new fuel injection system. Suzuki has also ensured to reprofile the intake and exhaust camshafts to reduce overlap and optimise the valve spring. To reduce vibrations and provide a smooth power delivery, the 2022 Hayabusa features a new optimised twin swirl combustion chamber.
Suzuki has paired the engine of the Hayabusa to a Constant Mesh, 6-speed manual gearbox for smooth yet aggressive shifts. For ride comfort and stability, the Hayabusa features inverted, oil-damped telescopic front forks with a link type, oil-damped monoshock rear suspension. In terms of braking, the 2022 Hayabusa features twin Brembo Stylema front discs with ABS. The Hayabusa also features a single Nissin rear disc with ABS along with a 20-litre fuel tank.
Suzuki offers the 2022 Hayabusa with a front LED headlight with integrated LED DRLs and turn indicators. Along with rear LED combination taillights, the Hayabusa features the Suzuki Intelligent Ride System (S.I.R.S.). This system allows the rider to access 3 riding modes via the power mode selector- Active, Basic, and Comfort. Additionally, the Hayabusa also sports a Cruise Control, Active Speed Limiter, Hill Hold Control System, and a Launch Control System. Other notable features include an Anti-lift Control System, Engine Braking Control, and Motion Track Traction Control.
